I find it SO funny that people who say they are tired of the hype and lies will reject my honest, straight forward message and fall for these kinds of messages every time. They will continue to sign up for illegal programs (YES GIFTING is illegal!) hoping to make their "cash for Christmas".
I have news for you… if you are 40 years old, and you are broke this year at Christmas, and you have BEEN broke every year at Christmas since you left home at 33, then it’s because you have made dumb choices. Yeah I know that’s a little harsh but if you want someone to lie to you, …. ah what am i saying…. of COURSE you want someone to lie to you. You want someone to lie to you all the while telling you they are the only ones who are telling the truth and are going to share their ‘secrets’ to success.
I once had a guy sign up with me in this little $10 a month program. It was a legitimate program with a small monthly maintenance. He proceeded to build this website and had a video on it showing some guy throwing cash in the air at a crosswalk on a busy New York street. He then proceeded (in his ad copy) to tell people how he was making $102K a month from this little $10 a month program. Than he calls me (from his McJob) to whine because he’s got what he thinks is a great website but it "isn’t working".
The thing is, this was the kind of stuff that he felt worked for everyone because it worked for him. It’s not working because you are not very smart. Stop calling me.
OK so REALLY…. how do you make money? First… quit chasing the lottery, gifting programs, ‘investment’ schemes. STOP believing someone who tells you that they have the secret and everyone else is lying, and for goodness sake don’t "plug into this automated system".
- Find something you BELIEVE in. Passion drives success, and keeps you going through the tough times.
- Take a little time to figure out what kinds of people are looking for what you’ve got. Who are they, where are they, and why do they need and want this.
- Find a way to get to those people… either through online or offline advertising, word of mouth, or just casting a wide net and letting them filter themselves out.
- Stop fretting over the people who say no to you. (Unless you’ve been at this for 2 years and EVERYONE says no) Leave them alone. Find people who will say yes by following the first 3 points.
- You might have to do something every day. I didn’t make my money by sitting back and letting some ‘system’ do the work. If I had a system that would do all the work and allow me to not do anything I wouldn’t need a website. (that’s work). I wouldn’t need to advertise on Google (That’s work AND it costs money) and finally I wouldn’t need YOU.
If you believe that YOU are cut out for whatever you are doing, you need to realize that not everyone is. Stop pandering to the lowest common denominator. Set the standard a little higher. Give me one high caliber team leader over 100 snivelling followers ANY day of the week! PLEASE for the sake of your sanity (and success) ALLOW people to disqualify themselves. Not everyone will agree with you. Accept it.
Finally I have a confession to make. I don’t worship the almight dollar like so many people seem to. Now if you are a "Millionaire Mind" student, then you are probably saying, "It’s OK Shelley. When you let go those bad feelings about money and finally accept that it is OK to WANT to be rich then you will finally get where you want to be." Hey I like WhatSISname ok… I’ve listened to his tapes… he’s an inspiring guy, but he is flat out wrong… EVERYONE doesn’t secretly want to have a gazillioon dollars, and are just afraid to admit it. The thing is, those of you that DO think you want that seem to think that everyone wants it. It’s frustrating talking with you guys, and you are the guys that are either writing those web pages I talked about or believing them and signing up for yet another let down.
Take my advice, get your OTHER ducks in a row, and money will flow to you. You won’t have to worry about it ever again. Just stop chasing your tail thinking this time your going to catch it.
