How do they do that in less than 140 characters?

Some days I’m in the mix and some days I don’t even bother logging on.

Just hang out for a while and you’ll get the hang of it.
I’ve actually gotten some really beneficial outcomes from being on twitter.

2 radio interviews and am now a staff writer for an influential wellness website. All because of my presence on twitter.
Nothing clever. Just because I happened to be there.

So, hang in there. I’m sure good things will come for you on twitterville.

I used to spend an Inordinate amount
of Time on Forums

One Particular Forum I was on for
several YEARS is one you are also on

In those years I have

1 – Met One or two People in Person
2 – Talked to a handful of people on phone
3 – Done a Few Presentations of MLM
3 – Signed up a handful of people into my
MLM Company .. none who have done anything

I have been on Twitter for a few months. In those
few months I have :

1 – Met 40 or more People in Person
2 – Talked to at least 50 of people on phone
3 – Done Countless Presentations of My MLM Company
4 – Signed up Several customers
4 – Signed up a more of people into my
MLM Company than I have in YEAR on the Forum

So I simply replaced my Time on that Forum with Time on Twitter

I still drop by there every once in awhile for a laugh

I find I use twitter in spurts. When I have the chance to pull up Tweetdeck, I will make an effort to interact with people. However some days, I may not get to it at all.

That said, I don’t treat it like some sort of “contest” either. Without going to look, I couldn’t tell you have many followers I have … lol, although I’m sure it’s a low enough number that I would be ridiculed by some “successful” twitterers.
